Job description

Overview

Supply Warehouse Technician (SWFPAC 2026-25332):

Bowhead seeks a Supply Warehouse Technician at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) and Marine Corps Security Battalion (MCSFBn) logistics department.

Please note, this position is contingent upon contract award. No third party applications or submissions will be considered.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

  • Executes the daily tactical warehousing operations for non-explosive equipment, repair parts, and tactical gear.
  • Focus on physical material processing, inventory accuracy, and system documentation to ensure strategic assets and security forces are continuously supplied.
  • Unload delivery vehicles, unpack materials, inspect items for damage, and verify quantities against packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase invoices.
  • Store items in designated warehouse bins, shelves, or racks according to size, weight, and climate requirements, utilizing space preservation techniques.
  • Process material receipts, storage locations, and issues into Navy or Marine Corps warehouse management software systems to maintain real-time tracking.
  • Read pick tickets, pull correct items from inventory, verify part numbers/National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and issue items to military and civilian personnel at the issue counter.
  • Perform routine physical counts of stock items, conduct location verifications, and report discrepancies (overages, shortages, or damages) to the Warehouse Lead.
  • Consolidate, pack, and label parts or kits for distribution to specific base units, security checkpoints, or maintenance facilities.
  • Operating material handling equipment (MHE) includes standard forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and platform scales.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-3 years of experience in an industrial, commercial, or military warehouse environment performing receiving, storage, and inventory functions
  • Former Marine Corps Logistics Specialists (MOS 3043) or Navy Logistics Specialists (LS) experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately read alphanumeric codes, part numbers, and National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and basic proficiency with computers and inventory software
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
  • High noise levels are common as is the potential exposure to heat/cold, noise, dusts, mist, and/or fumes.

Security Requirements: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
