Job Title: Sales Manager – Residential Roofing

Company: HomeLyfe Roofing

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Job Type: Full-Time | Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions + Overrides

Reports To: Director of Sales

Are you a 'Closer' ready to build a dynasty with HomeLyfe Roofing?

HomeLyfe Roofing is a premier residential roofing company experiencing explosive growth. We are looking for a Sales Manager who doesn’t just want to manage a team—they want to build one. This is not a desk job. We need a rainmaker who can lead by example, close complex insurance claims and retail jobs, and recruit a squad of hungry sales reps who embody the HomeLyfe standard of excellence.

If you are afraid to knock on a door or grind in the field, this is not the role for you. At HomeLyfe, we need a leader who will be the first one out of the truck and the last one to leave—because that's how we protect our customers' most valuable asset: their home.

The Opportunity at HomeLyfe Roofing

High Earnings: Base Salary + Personal Commission + Team Overrides.

  • Autonomy: You will have full control over your team's schedule, training, and tactics—backed by the HomeLyfe brand and reputation.
  • Resources: We provide top-tier marketing, cutting-edge CRM software, and production support so you can focus on selling and leading.
  • Growth: This role is designed for someone who wants to move into a Regional Director position within 18 months as HomeLyfe continues to expand.
What You Will Do 1. Sales Execution (The "Doer")
  • Knock Doors: You will actively prospect door-to-door (D2D) in storm-affected and high-potential neighborhoods, representing the HomeLyfe Roofing name with pride.
  • Close Deals: Handle complex roofing estimates, navigate insurance supplement battles, and close retail jobs with a high conversion rate that exceeds HomeLyfe's performance benchmarks.
  • On-Site Inspections: Climb ladders, inspect roofs, and conduct thorough damage assessments alongside your team—because HomeLyfe doesn't cut corners.
2. Team Leadership (The "Builder")
  • Recruit: Actively source, hire, and onboard a team of 5–10 Outside Sales Representatives who share the HomeLyfe commitment to quality and integrity.
  • Train: Implement daily role-plays and ride-alongs. Teach the "Science of Sales" and the "Art of Roofing" the HomeLyfe way.
  • Motivate: Keep the team energized through daily morning meetings, contest creation, and maintaining a culture of high performance that sets HomeLyfe apart from the competition.
  • Accountability: Review pipeline metrics (KPIs) daily. Ensure your team is hitting activity goals (dials, doors, and inspections) to drive HomeLyfe's continued success.
Who You Are
  • The "Carrier of the Rock": You are the best salesperson in the room. You lead from the front, not from a computer screen—and you represent HomeLyfe Roofing with unwavering professionalism.
  • Hunter Mentality: You are obsessed with prospecting. You look at a neighborhood and see opportunities, not obstacles—and you know how to turn them into HomeLyfe customers.
  • Resilient: Rejection doesn't faze you. You thrive in the "no" because you know it leads to the "yes"—and every "yes" helps another family secure the HomeLyfe difference.
  • Recruiter: You know how to find talent. You can walk into a gym or a coffee shop and convince a stranger to join your team, because you believe in the HomeLyfe mission.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of residential roofing sales experience (required).
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing or mentoring a sales team (preferred) OR a strong desire to step into leadership.
  • D2D Mindset: A demonstrated history of successful door-to-door canvassing.
  • Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills that reflect the HomeLyfe Roofing brand.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and estimating tools (e.g., Housecall Pro).
  • Driver's License: Valid license and reliable transportation to get to job sites and meet reps.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $3000 a month (Competitive Base)
  • Commissions: Uncapped personal commission on all personal sales.
  • Overrides: Generous percentage of all sales generated by your team.
  • Tools: Company iPad/Phone allowance.

Equal Opportunity Employer: HomeLyfe Roofing celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
