Canine Detection Handler
Alabama Locations Full Time $35.00/hour
Global K9 Protection Group LLC
Global K9 Protection Group LLC is seeking a dedicated and passionate Detection Canine Handlers to join our elite team. This role is essential to our mission of delivering world-class canine detection services to our clients across the country.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with a trained Elite Detection Canine to conduct searches of all vehicles entering or parked on facility grounds.
  • Screen vendors, staff, and visitors at entry points for narcotics and prohibited items.
  • Perform proactive sweeps of parking lots, perimeters, and exterior delivery areas.
  • Transport yourself and your canine to/from client locations using your personal vehicle
  • House and care for your assigned canine when off duty
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation in GlobalView platform.
  • Ensure up-to-date canine health records and monthly preventatives are maintained
  • Liaise with client managers, law enforcement, and other stakeholders
  • Be available for emergency response, demonstrations, and standby duty (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Follow all SOPs and SOWs during operational searches and training
