Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION
JMA K9 LLC is seeking an experienced Explosive Detection K9 Handler for a part-time federal contract position in the Fort Worth, TX area. Ideal for retired military, retired law enforcement, or experienced K9 professionals seeking flexible part-time work.
SCHEDULE
Approximately 19 paid hours per week
Monday through Friday
24/7 on-call availability required for emergencies

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct explosive detection sweeps
Perform vehicle inspections, building searches, and roving patrols
Maintain weekly proficiency training and monthly documentation
Provide daily care and kenneling of company-provided canine at your residence
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years canine handling experience
Must own a climate-controlled vehicle capable of transporting a K9 crate
Must pass full federal background investigation
Clean criminal record no felonies
No drug use history
Valid Texas driver's license or willing to obtain
Willing to complete joint certification with company-provided canine
Adequate space at residence to kennel dog
