Job description

Risk Services of Louisiana, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships. In this role, you'll work closely with clients, producers, carriers, and internal team members to ensure businesses have the coverage and support they need to protect what matters most.
This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within Louisiana or Texas. Candidates also have the option to work in a hybrid or onsite capacity from one of RSL's office locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and service a book of middle-market commercial insurance clients, ensuring their needs are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Partner with producers and account executives to support new business, renewals, and client retention efforts.
  • Respond to coverage questions and provide guidance on policy options and insurance solutions.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, audits, and other service requests.
  • Review renewal terms and pricing, identify potential concerns, and help explore alternative coverage options when needed.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client coverage and support account rounding initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management system-AMS360.
  • Participate in renewal strategy discussions and collaborate with internal teams to develop the best solutions for clients.
  • Support team development through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration.

Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance agency experience in an Account Manager or Account Executive role
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy servicing.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems is a plus.
  • Industry designations such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU are valued but not required.
