The Department of Behavior Analysis (DBA) at the University of North Texas (UNT) is renowned for its pioneering role in the field of behavior analysis. The DBA boasts a distinguished faculty with expertise in theoretical, experimental, and applied behavior analysis. It houses several research labs where students can engage in cutting-edge research and practical training. The department offers a comprehensive range of degree programs, including a B.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis, an M.S. in Behavior Analysis, an M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Ph.D. in Health Science Research with a concentration in behavior analysis.
UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSls and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.

Position Overview

The Department of Behavior Analysis seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Assistant Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
This job includes corresponding with students, grading written work, providing tutoring to students, and other tasks that may be assigned by the course instructor throughout the duration of the course.

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of some graduate-level coursework in behavior analysis or non-UNT students currently enrolled in a graduate-level degree program in behavior analysis or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with online, asynchronous courses.
Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a related educational role.
Professional experience in the field of applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.
