Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as a Onsite Associate. You would be primary responsible for coverage of surrounding roles onsite while completing VMI responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coverage for the following areas:
o Shipper
o Receiver
o Tool Crib Attendant
o Marshaller
Complete Site specific VMI lists as required
Scan data from the VMI lists & upload to central data base
Ensure resulting PO matches with original upload
Picking/Checking regular & VMI Orders as required
Loading truck with daily out bound VMI orders
Put away ordered products at respective VMI locations
Handling VMI related returns as per company guidelines
Warehouse Shipping/ Receiving related tasks
Housekeeping of Warehouse
Overtime & Off-Hours work may be required from time to time
Read, understand, and follow Vallen's health, safety, and environment policies and all applicable OH&S legislation/regulations.
Actively participate in Vallen's health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections.
Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses.
Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements.
Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks
Other duties as required
Health and Safety:

Daily FLHA/PTA cards
Bi-Weekly safety meeting attendance
Weekly hazard ID cards
On-time completion of all Dow required courses (Diamond Learning)
On-time completion of all MEGlobal required courses
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, preferable in a Sales/Distribution environment
The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a very fast paced environment.
