Job description

We are seeking an experienced Attorney. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who thrives in handling complex insurance defense and general liability matters from inception through resolution.

The selected attorney will manage a diverse caseload involving high-exposure and sophisticated claims. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth investigations and discovery, drafting pleadings, handling law and motion practice, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and preparing detailed evaluation and status reports for clients and carriers. You will also play a key role in preparing cases for arbitration and trial, including second-chairing trials and actively supporting trial strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging cases, collaborate with experienced litigators, and grow within a dynamic and respected legal practice.

Qualifications

  • Active California State Bar license in good standing

  • 5+ years of experience practicing Insurance Defense, with strong exposure to General Liability matters

  • Proven ability to independently manage complex litigation files

  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

  • Experience with discovery, depositions, motions, arbitration, and trial preparation

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment while meeting deadlines and client expectations
