Member Experience Associate
Part Time
10-18 hours/week, with additional (optional) shifts as needed
Evening shifts: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5pm-10pm
Optional: Sundays, 7:45am-4pm
We're looking for a cheerful and reliable problem-solver to join our team as a Member Experience Associate!
In this role, you'll be the face (and voice!) of the MJCCA, greeting guests, answering calls, resolving member problems, and keeping things running smoothly at the front desk. If you love being organized, helpful, and the reason someone walks away with a smile, this job is calling your name!
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests with a warm smile and a friendly hello as they arrive and leave.
• Show off your excellent guest service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
• Provide basic information about classes, events, schedules, and services offered at the center. Assist members with making reservations through our mobile app.
• Direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff. Take messages as needed to best assist individuals calling in.
• Assist with visitor inquiries and provide information about our facilities.
• Follow appropriate procedures for checking-in guests, taking payment through POS as needed.
• Various clerical tasks, such as logging deliveries and inputting member information into the CRM system.
• Identify emergencies, incidents, etc., and follow appropriate procedures to resolve any issues.
• Work collaboratively with the Manager of Member Experience to assist in projects and identify areas of need.
Qualifications:
• Excellent interpersonal skills to make each interaction memorable and helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Strong executive functioning skills; multitasking and prioritizing while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
