Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated EDFA to be one of the faces of our office and ensure the smooth operation of the practice. The ideal candidate will be well-organized with great attention to detail and be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all materials are stocked and ready.
Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures.
Assist the dentist with examinations and procedures needed.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
