Primary Purpose of the Position:
Broadwell College of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University seeks to hire Adjunct Lecturers for the Construction Project Management Program beginning Fall 2026. The selected candidate will exhibit a desire to teach at the undergraduate level but may also be required to teach graduate courses.
Adjunct postings are continuous advertisement. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of FSU at any time, you will be contacted to discuss proposed opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester.
Adjunct positions are employed for one semester of one year only on a part-time or full-time basis. *
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Master of Engineering (MEng) or Master of Science (M.S.) or Ph.D. in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline. ABD candidates are welcome to apply. (Rank of adjunct position will dependent upon education).
  • A minimum of one year of university-level teaching experience and/or industry-related experience.
  • Record of relevant field/site work experience.

  • DBIA Certification
  • OSHA 30 or Safety Certifications
  • PE License (Civil/Structural) or RA (Registered Architect)
