Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Python Developer for a 7-week onsite contract in Houston, TX, focusing on analytics solutions in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves developing Python-based analytics workflows, building Monte Carlo simulations, and creating visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based analytics workflows in Databricks.
• Build and run Monte Carlo simulations and statistical models for risk and scenario analysis.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and interpret results for stakeholders.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
• Collaborate with data analytics leads and risk teams on requirements and deliverables.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and results for traceability.
• Provide guidance on simulation methods, statistical modeling, and best practices.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards within tight time-frame.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hold 6-9 years of advanced Python development experience.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Databricks for data processing, notebooks, and workflows.
• Possess solid background in statistics, including Monte Carlo simulation, stochastic modeling, and probability analysis.
