Job description

Overview

Identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment. Assists in the development of exercise prescriptions for patient. Supervises exercise therapy and manages selection and maintenance of exercise equipment. Provides wellness education to cardiac in patients with Cardiac Rehabilitation eligible diagnoses and to patients as they progress through Cardiac Rehabilitation sessions. Maintains appropriate documentation on patient progress.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:Education: HS/GED Required. Required, Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in exercise/wellness field. ACSM Certificate preferred. BCLS certification required within 6 month provisional period.Experience:Experience as an Exercise Physiologist in a clinical environment preferred.Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able and willing to work with all patients while managing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously. Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.
