Job description

 

Minden Medical Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient care through rehabilitation services that help individuals regain functional independence. You’ll work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to carry out established plans of care and support safe progress toward mobility and comfort goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver therapeutic exercise and therapeutic modalities as outlined in the plan of care
- Support pain management and functional training, including assistive devices and wheelchair mobility
- Complete accurate treatment documentation in the EMR/EHR
- Follow infection control, HIPAA compliance, and safety protocols
Required qualifications/skills:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program; passed licensure exam
- Current, valid Louisiana PTA license; BLS Certification required
- Basic computer skills; therapy services knowledge
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to company locations
- Must pass required drug screen, physical, and background screening
