Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a certified and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team. This role plays a vital part in patient care and diagnostic imaging, performing mammograms under the guidance of the Radiologist, Lead Technologist, Chief Technologist, or Technical Director. The Mammography Technologist ensures patient comfort and safety while following all regulatory, quality, and radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
  • Maintain accurate documentation of imaging and patient records
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations, including M.S.Q.A. standards
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and fellow technologists
  • Remain flexible and responsive to scheduling needs and workflow priorities
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to support departmental efficiency
  • Stay current on departmental policies, safety protocols, and certifications
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment
Minimum Skills/Requirements
  • A.R.R.T. registered and certified in mammography with at least one year experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience preferred
  • Advanced mammography training as required by the State of Nevada and M.S.Q.A.
  • Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Works as an effective team member with co-workers and other personnel.
