Job description

Overview Practice Operations Specialist- Primary Care

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our primary care team in the role of Practice Operations Specialist.

Provides support in practice operations for the organization and reports to the Project Manager. Will monitor oversee physician and APP Value Based Compensation, manage projects, collect and analyze data, and work with all levels of management and physicians to accomplish goals.

This is a hybrid role Monday-Friday day shift with occasional onsite expectations.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2-4 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience.
  • Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data validation, and data analysis.
  • Experience calculating, auditing, and reporting compensation, productivity, quality, or performance metrics preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating project activities, facilitating meetings, documenting action items, and engaging stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex data and methodologies to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, dashboard maintenance, and data visualization preferred.
  • Interest in or experience utilizing Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI-enabled productivity tools, and technology-driven process improvement preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and other Microsoft 365 applications preferred.
