Description

UW Medicine Primary Care, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine, is seeking an ARNP for a Flex APP position at our Kirkland Clinic.

The Flex APP does some patient care and also provides clinical support for other providers, including inbox management. This position is open to all eligible candidates, but is well suited to new career ARNPs.

UW Medicine has a single mission: To improve the health of the public. The 30,000 members of our community advance this mission through the excellence of their work in patient care, medical education and research.

UW Medicine Primary Care offers a complete spectrum of primary and urgent care services, strong connections to specialists throughout the Seattle area, and are committed to improving the health of the public. The providers are actively engaged in teaching and providing outstanding care.

We prioritize unique and comprehensive care delivery to serve the needs of our patients, including behavioral health, care management, lab and radiology, and a fully integrated electronic medical record. Through our affiliation with the world-class University of Washington School of Medicine and the top ranked primary care training program in the United States, our employees have the distinct advantage to provide our patients with an exceptionally high level of innovative care.

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Successful candidate will be appointed as a Teaching Associate through the UW School of Medicine.

We provide competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, and a commitment to work-life balance.

Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. In addition to providing primary care, this role will include some clinical teaching responsibilities.

Base salary for this position will be $10,635 per month ($127,620 per annum) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determination and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) provides eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.

Other compensation associated with this position includes a minimum guaranteed incentive for the first year of $2,000 per quarter ($8,000 per annum) through UW Physicians. The incentive is based on both production and quality metrics, with guaranteed incentive pay being based on achieving up to the 45th percentile of production during the period of record; should the provider exceed this level of production, they will receive the higher productivity earned incentive instead.

Candidates must be board certified ARNP, have a valid Washington State medical license and DEA Certification.
