Are you a safety-focused, experienced CDL A driver ready for a rewarding regional role? Xylem in Indianapolis is seeking a reliable truck driver to join our team, operating 48' and 53' tractor trailers. You'll transport our specialized water industry products to key company locations in the Central US, hauling industrial materials.

Position Highlights:

  • Competitive Pay: $70,000 - $75,000 (based on experience/skills).

  • We Offer Overtime!

  • Shift Details: 3rd shift, with route start times between 9pm-3am. We notify you at least 2 hours before loading.

  • Routes: Regular long-haul to destinations like Omaha, Memphis, Pittsburgh-occasional overnight stays in your truck.

  • Weekly Home Time! Consistent Home Base: Start and return to Indianapolis for each run-no endless over-the-road!

What Will You Do?

  • Safely operate tractor trailers (48'/53') and forklifts to load, unload, and transport specialty water treatment products.

  • Complete all pick-ups/deliveries between internal Xylem facilities-no public loading/unloading.

  • Unload products and reload used material at each facility.

  • Maintain accurate e-logs and order data on company equipment.

  • Communicate clearly and courteously with internal teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • Valid CDL A license and a clean driving record.

  • At least 1 year of recent experience driving tractor trailers.

  • Willing and able to work overnight/3rd shift, with flexible start times.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing in/out of cabs and trailers, and using a forklift (forklift experience is a plus!).

  • Commitment to safety and DOT/state/federal compliance.

  • Reliable communication skills, teamwork attitude, and a willingness to learn.
