Our trained and experienced professionals constantly strive to bring together the best technologies available to manage client's complex business and technology, participate in implementation activities and collaborate in new ways to meet client needs. We provide excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision and a fun company to work.

Job Description:

This role requires top skills in Rest API testing using Postman (Javascript), Newman, and Rest assured (Java). Strong understanding of Java development concepts is essential. Experience with Selenium Web Driver and proficiency in SQL are also required. In this role, you will provide technical expertise for UI and web service functional and automation testing. You will be working with cross-functional teams to create world class technical solutions, infusing quality through testing within the software development process to benefit the organization. You will be interacting closely with developers, technical leads, PMO, and QA leadership.

This manager is looking for people who are strong technically from a development perspective. This person will also be asked to do some manual testing tasks, and possible UI manual/exploratory testing. The manager is looking for someone who is open to helping with all types of testing, not just automation. Their teams do a lot of Rest API development on their microservices applications, and because of that there is a lot of Rest API testing working using the above tools that this person will do.

They also love people who are good problem solvers and excited to learn.

Employee Value Proposition (EVP):

Delta Dental is the nation's largest dental insurance provider. Their business is growing quickly and they are investing in technology to bring their company to the next level. This position offers people the ability to work with a team of like-minded engineers who are technologists at heart! They will be working with the most up to date technologies and be on the leading edge of development, testing, and engineering principles developed by some of the best software development companies in the world. This is going to be a multi-year project.

Work Environment:

They work in a SAFe Agile environment. This person will be a part of a team of 3-4 developers, QA/SDET, BA, and Scrum Master. Their environment has all low cubes (similar to our pit) and everyone works very collaborative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

This manager is being picky on the type of person he is going to hire. He does not want someone who is heads down and sits there taking instructions from the lead/boss. He wants someone who is self-driven, knows how to solve problems, and get answers.

He would love someone who comes from an insurance or financial industry background, but is flexible on this. People who come from a technical development background usually work out the best... They need the QA skills too.
