This is an on-site position located in Tallahassee, FL

 

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) program to include but not limited to a variety of MFMP applications statewide, system support and outreach, system security and necessary business updates, training and communication to system users and work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the stability, efficiency, satisfaction of the program.

The Chief of MyFloridaMarketPlace will lead a team of five that support all aspects of the MFMP program, including infrastructure, application development, testing, implementation, training development and delivery, communication drafting and execution, and utilization support for all stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Directs and supervises direct reports to ensure adequate governance of the MFMP program, to include establishment, documentation, and compliance of the State's statutes and rules with MFMP policies and procedures.
  • Consults with team and contractor to establish priorities and objectives for the organization management and technical management of MFMP, integration with other systems, for communications, system and services security, and other priorities, as assigned.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and monitoring of all MFMP applications.
  • Ensure oversight of MFMP software, systems, hardware, help desk, website, and contract management of the contractor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of leadership experience and technical experience using an eprocurement or purchasing system.
