Job description

Position Overview

Patient Care Mental Health, Inc. is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team. This full-time remote position focuses on delivering critical mental health services within a school setting, providing support for students and their families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of youth and their communities.

About the Organization

At Patient Care Mental Health, Inc., we are not just another healthcare organization; we are a mission-driven team dedicated to increasing access to mental health care for individuals in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Our approach revolves around value-centric care, where both our patients and team members feel understood and empowered. We emphasize collaboration and respect and work relentlessly to improve the mental health landscape in our region.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to design your work schedule around your personal and professional commitments. You will primarily engage in virtual interactions with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide top-notch mental health care. The remote nature of this role ensures you can deliver support from your preferred environment while staying connected with our school partners and fellow mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of psychosocial issues impacting students. Your clinical expertise will guide intervention strategies that address both mental health needs and environmental concerns.
  • Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to understand barriers to treatment, leveraging findings to enhance the health status and resource utilization for our clients.
  • Consult closely with medical and educational staff, providing insights into students' social and emotional functioning, thereby facilitating the development of comprehensive care programs that align with each student's unique needs.
  • Design individualized and group treatment plans while employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that focus on student growth and recovery.
  • Document all interactions and treatment strategies accurately in patient medical records, adhering to the highest professional standards mandated by the NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Educate families on mental health topics, treatment recommendations, and community resources to assist them in navigating their journey toward healing and recovery.
  • Remain current with community resources and integrate these into your practice to enhance the support network available to students and their families.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training programs and workshops, ensuring your clinical skills remain relevant and effective.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve school-aged children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will champion the importance of culturally sensitive therapy, recognizing the diverse backgrounds and challenges that families may face. This role demands an understanding of developmental stages and the unique pressures children and adolescents encounter in educational settings.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution along with a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Arizona is required.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in a school or community mental health setting, dealing with youth populations.
  • Strong analytical and therapeutic skills to effectively assess, develop, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
  • Knowledge of relevant state regulations and ethical standards, alongside a commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a school environment, particularly with interventions for special education students or those requiring additional support.
  • Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration within educational and healthcare settings to promote holistic care strategies.
  • Experience in delivering group therapy sessions for adolescents.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a retirement plan, and a generous sign-on bonus, reflecting our commitment to attracting top-tier talent.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Patient Care Mental Health, Inc., we believe in fostering the growth of our team members. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have access to ongoing training, mentoring, and leadership development opportunities. There are numerous pathways to advancement within the organization that encourage specialists in various therapeutic modalities and leadership roles in mental health advocacy.

Why Join Our Team

By joining our team at Patient Care Mental Health, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mental health support that students receive in our schools. Embrace the opportunity to work within a diverse and enthusiastic team that prioritizes respect, innovation, and excellence while pushing the boundaries of mental health care.
