About The Role

In this role, you’ll protect Gap Inc.’s senior leadership through executive protection operations, protective intelligence, and security/logistics support in a fast-paced environment. The Manager of Executive Protection (EP) Operations will employ strong functional expertise to provide close protection coverage for senior Gap Inc. leadership during domestic and international field details. This is a hands‑on position focused on planning and executing protective operations for travel, events, and daily movements. You’ll deliver discreet, professional, and detail‑oriented service that reflects the highest standards of safety and hospitality. We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, anticipates needs, and demonstrates high‑level discipline and adaptability. This role requires significant domestic and international travel and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast‑paced environments. The position also requires flexibility to work irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as maintaining on‑call availability as business needs dictate.

What you’ll do

  • Provide close protection to senior executives, as needed
  • Provide secure transportation for senior executives utilizing protective driving techniques, as needed
  • Interface with senior leaders and key business partners to assess and plan risk commensurate EP support posture
  • Liaise with the Corporate Travel Team to coordinate logistical plans for EP team
  • Develop and implement security and logistical plans for domestic and international travel and appearances by senior executives
  • Conduct protective intelligence activities to support the EP program to include pre-trip assessments, ongoing monitoring of threats, and liaison with key internal and external partners
  • Coordinate with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to provide support for and guidance about leadership travel
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the EP program
  • Engage directly with key business partners such as the CEO’s office, Travel team, and others.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to assess needs and ensure the EP program is responsive to those needs
  • Oversee vendor selection and performance when applicable
Qualifications:

Who you are

  • Five plus years’ experience conducting executive protection operations in public or private sector
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), and establishing key metrics to drive consistent program execution and strive for continuous improvement
  • New York CCW or willingness/ability to pursue
  • New York State Armed Guard Card or willingness/ability to pursue
  • LEOSA HR 218 preferred
  • Must possess a current US Passport
  • Must have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Prior federal, state, or municipal law enforcement experience preferred
Compensation:

Salary Range: $117,900.00 - $153,300.00

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
