About the Job

Full-time Executive Security Officer Team Lead

Standard hours are 0600-1800 Mon-Friday. (40 hour schedule in those operating hours)

Corporate Location in Lenexa, KS

Clark International is seeking professional, self-motivated, dependable candidates for an armed private security supervisory position in a corporate environment.

Executive Security Officers (ESOs) are highly professional officers who are more experienced and trained to a higher level than the industry standard 'armed security guards.' By blending into a corporate security environment in more of a "plainclothes" uniform, they are able to interface with the executives, corporate personnel, and the public. Executive Security Officers are truly professionals in the industry who enjoy being asked to do special assignments.

ESO Team Leads lead a team of officers at an assigned location, ensuring proper training, staffing, scheduling, standards, and setting the example of what it means to be a Clark International Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Security Officers protect client personnel and property through high levels of situational awareness, access control, active patrolling, engagement with employees and the public.

  • Lead and manage a team of 10+ professional security officers
  • Ensure training and standards of conduct and performance are met
  • Manage administrative functions of the team including scheduling, timekeeping, and other documentation
  • Liaison with the client Facility Management and Executives to ensure unmatched protection and customer service
  • Plan and execute event and executive security requests
  • Identify threats early and respond, coordinate mitigate,and neutralize as necessary
  • Provide armed response to violent threats to personnel on the property
  • Maintain Access Control to the facility
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other feeds for incidents and suspicious activity
  • Work with facility staff to conduct emergency response procedures for weather, fires, or other environmental threats
  • Provide concierge service to visitors, vendors, and others needing assistance

Minimum Required Work Experience:

  • Experience supervising teams
  • Experiencing interfacing with executives

And one of the following:

  • Prior or current law enforcement
  • Extensive experience in an armed security role
  • Experience in a military security setting

Preferred Professional Qualifications and Experience:

  • Private Security Certifications (ASIS International, CPO, accredited EP academy, Private Investigator, etc.)
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree
  • Experience in a military or law enforcement special operations unit (SWAT/SOF) or SMU

Additional Requirements:

  • Obtain and maintain a semi-annual firearms qualification congruent with Law Enforcement standards
  • Attend annual training and assessment to include Use of Force, Legal, non-lethal weapons employment, CPR/First Aid, De-escalation, Defensive Tactics, and firearms training. Clark International provides all mandatory training.
  • Maintain a high level of fitness. Minimum physical aptitude:

o Run at least 400 Meters without stopping

o Pick up and lift at 50 pounds from the ground to above their head

o Drag a 150 pound dummy for 20 yards

o Be able to stand for extended periods of time (2 hours)

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high stress situations
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Working knowledge of computer productivity software and ability to write professional reports
