Job Description

Our risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Field Support Operator. The Field Support Operator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring high-value transport escorts, special event security, workplace violence response deployments, strike-related details, and other urgent coverage requests within the Special Services Division. The Operator works closely with Operations Managers, clients, and partner agencies to match the right resources to each request and ensure documentation is accurate for billing and payroll. This position may require ~15% travel to client locations as well as other offices when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate high-value Transport runs, ensuring approved drivers or escorts are scheduled, briefed, and tracked in real time
  • Support scheduling and monitoring of workplace violence response posts, strike-related details, and special event security deployments
  • Track live missions, respond to real-time issues, and communicate status updates to clients and management
  • Verify that partner agencies and subcontractors follow company standards and contractual requirements
  • Receive and document inbound requests for special services and urgent coverage
  • Match available staff or partners to requests, update schedules, and relay changes to Operations Managers and clients
  • Ensure timekeeping and billing data is accurate and complete for all assignments
  • Maintain clear documentation of each case from start to finish
  • Perform similar coordination and support duties within the Special Services group as needed

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in operational or security coordination roles
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in one or more of the following: transport coordination, dispatch, security operations, or emergency response
  • Experience as an operator or manager in a high-volume, multi-faceted service team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); ability to learn new scheduling/dispatch tools quickly
  • Strong understanding of emergency response practices, security protocols, and transport risk management
  • Ability to multitask in high-stress or sensitive situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all organizational levels and client contacts
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Customer-service skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations
  • Competency in interpreting and applying data for rates, hours, billing, and payroll reconciliation
  • Capable of writing clear reports, logs, and case notes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Associate's degree in project management, criminal justice, or related field of study
  • Proficient in Smartsheet application
