Job Description:
Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Agent - Executive Protection is to serve as part of a team that provides physical protection to ensure the safety and security of designated corporate executives, or others as assigned, who are associated with our hospitality oriented Las Vegas based company. The Executive Protection Team operates in high profile domestic and overseas environments. This is a safety-related position.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Following and executing comprehensive security protocols and emergency response plans
  • Providing residential protection and close protection services for the executive and families, including accompanying them to various locations and events
  • Monitoring and operating surveillance systems and advanced technological measures.
  • Conducting thorough risk and threat assessments to identify potential security issues
  • Monitoring and adjusting security measures as needed to address changing threat levels.
  • Coordinating with local law enforcement, security personnel, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless security
  • Providing protective surveillance and always maintaining situational awareness
  • Conducting security advances to prepare for executive's arrival at various locations
  • Acting quickly and effectively in emergency situations, employing defensive techniques when necessary
  • Reporting on security-related incidents and breaches
  • Ensuring privacy of the executive is always maintained.
  • Maintain an elevated level of confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Foster an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity, dedication, and professionalism.
  • Be prepared for extensive domestic and overseas travel.
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner.
  • Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet administrative and operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Driver's License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • Must be able obtain and maintain U.S. passport and be able to travel at least 35% of the time, both domestically and overseas.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain concealed weapon permit in the state of Nevada.
  • 3-5 years of Military experience OR law enforcement experience OR have extensive private sector experience in executive protection along with certified executive protection courses and training.
  • Advanced technical and tactical shooting skills as well as fundamental martial arts abilities.
  • Required to pass a physical fitness test and maintain excellent physical conditioning.
  • Must be able to meet operational requirements in a highly dynamic environment while facing aggressive time constraints in domestic and international settings.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks while working independently.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and other contacts of diverse backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied weekly schedule, shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
  • Lift or carry 200 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work remotely as necessary.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
