Airfreight Coordinator
Location:Greenville, South Carolina

Every day theindustry and deugro face the challenges of the logistics industry and ouremployees use their expertise to ensure large cargo is transported safely,effectively, and efficiently, through innovative and creative logisticalsolutions.
Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Airfreight Coordinator inGreenville, South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Quoting and carrying out rate negotiations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleagues
  • Checking shipping documents (Invoice and Packing List), if all information match with physical cargo, and if in good order for shipping
  • Organise collections, bookings, AWB cutting, and customs declarations, as well as other
    related tasks
  • Submit to overseas agents and request ok for shipping as well as book space with the airline
  • Follow up cargo arrival at the airport and clearance process;
  • Pre-alert to abroad agent/importer and AWB issuance
  • Follow up shipping with airline as well as arrival at destination and internal procedures up docs release at the airport or cargo delivery at consignee place, whichever is the case
  • Daily update to the customer (exporter/importer)
  • Invoicing, manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Follow up billing and final payment process and preparing file for closing

Skills, knowledge and expertise:
  • At least one year working experience in relevant / similar field
  • Relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry and good knowledge of Inco Terms and Operations
  • These qualities characterize you: analytical, results-driven, assertiveness
  • Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
  • Attentention to detail
