Job description

We are hiring a Field Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment and heavy machinery at customer sites, dealerships, and service locations. This role is critical to ensuring equipment uptime, customer satisfaction, and safe machine operation.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently in the field. This role may involve travel to job sites, mines, infrastructure projects, and industrial facilities.

Requirements

  • Experience servicing construction equipment, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, or heavy machinery
  • Technical qualification in diesel mechanics, mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related trade
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools, service manuals, and repair procedures
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel and work in field conditions
  • Ability to complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately
