Marine Painter – Underwater Coatings Division
Ross Marine | Charleston, SC

Ross Marine is seeking an experienced and skilled Painter to Join our Marine Underwater Coatings Division. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on candidate who takes pride in delivering top-quality work and enjoys working with others. If you have experience applying antifoulant or similar paints, running gear coatings, and performing light mechanical tasks, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform the preparation and application of antifoulant paints and running gear coatings.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the coating process, adhering to industry standards.
  • Maintain painting and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and effective use.
  • Perform light mechanical tasks as needed to support the department.
  • Complete regular inspections and quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in painting and coatings, specifically with antifoulant and running gear applications.
  •  experience in a marine or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a physical, outdoor environment.
