SUMMARY

Our client, a leading Systems Integrator & Managed Services provider for Audiovisual, Networking and Security systems and applications is seeking a Sales Executive to develop sales opportunities in the growing Mission Critical market sector. The role focuses on serving the needs of organizations seeking greater ROI from their Control Rooms, Command Centers and similar infrastructure: Telecoms network operations, transportation, utilities, emergency operations, law enforcement, military and other government agencies. The firm is seeking motivated high-performance, low-maintenance sales professionals who can adapt to new market opportunities, technologies and excel in a collaborative sales environment.

This is a remote/WFH role, focused on a multi-state territory in the Western USA.
You must live in the Lower 48 and be within one hour of a major airport. Expect regular regional and local travel to customer sites, key meetings and industry events. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for driving revenue growth through sales of Design-Build, Integration and Managed Services.
  • This is a proactive, hunting businjess pursuit role Strictly Carnivore.
  • Utilize prospecting tools and processes to include; webinars, seminars, email campaigns etc. to increase sales and expand the customer base in the Mission Critical Sector.
  • Develop and maintain multilevel relationships with prospects and customers in targeted industry verticals.
  • Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's technical and business needs, and how the firm can help them achieve those goals.
  • Accountability: Strong, detailed sales pipeline/funnel reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal, external and channel stakeholders to develop opportunities, bring them to close and deliver a quality customer experience.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the firms services and the products & firms they represent and resell.
  • Travel, as necessary, to cover sales responsibilities in neighboring states.
  • Participate in industry trade groups and events to promote the company and its service offerings.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Bachelors degree is preferred. Equivalent experience helpful.
  • 5-10+ + years of direct selling, including outside sales experience
  • 3-5+ years experience selling for Design-Build/Integration, Managed Services or tech manufacturer.
  • Track record of sales of multi-technology, multi-vendor solutions, including some of the following:audiovisual, unified communications, Networking, telecommunications, SaaS, Cybersecurity, CCTV, LV.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication and customer needs analysis.
  • Prospecting skills: CRM, Lead Generation, Marketing, Demos, Quoting, Pricing, Contract generation.
  • Business development: working with channel partners, professional networks to generate opportunities
  • Team Player: working with Sales Engineering, pricing, finance, operations and other stakeholders
