Executive Personal Assistant to HNW Entrepreneur and Educator, Boston, Mass.

An Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of an Investment firm that funds start-ups is seeking an exceptional Executive Personal Assistant to serve as the principalโ€™s trusted partner and operational right hand.

This role extends well beyond traditional executive support. The Executive Personal Assistant will function as a force multiplier and strategic extension of the principal, operating in a highly visible, Chief-of-Staffโ€“like capacity to maximize his effectiveness, streamline operations, and ensure flawless execution across professional and personal priorities. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience supporting an entrepreneurial type executive in a start-up Experience working at a private equity, venture capital or small finance firm highly desired.



About the Job

  • Act as the Principalโ€™s primary partner, managing daily priorities and ensuring focus on high-impact initiative
  • Own complex calendar management across business, investors, educational lecture commitments, overall speaking engagements and personal commitment
  • Serve as gatekeeper, liaison to senior leadership at the investment firm and colleagues at the university
  • Prioritize emails and craft emails on his behalf
  • Manage high-volume communications; draft correspondence, briefing materials, and presentations
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and executive briefings
  • Help manage and be a liaison for multiple home projects
  • Drive special projects and strategic initiatives, tracking deliverables
  • Plan events and dinners

About You

  • 8+ years supporting an entrepreneurial principal or senior C-suite executive in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up type environment. Experience working at a private equity, venture capital or small finance firm highly desire
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required
  • Proven experience operating as a true right hand or quasi-Chief of Staff
  • Exceptional organizational judgment, prioritization skills, and proactive problem-solving ability
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to anticipate needs and problem solve with little intervention
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the principal at all levels
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; comfortable using AI-enabled productivity too improve processes
  • Experienced planning and managing events; excellent project management skills; very organized and detail-oriented
