Job Description
  • Pay rate is $65 per hour
  • Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm (hours can vary)

Position Summary

The Executive Protection Specialist (EPS)is responsible forthe safe, discreet, and efficient transportation and protection of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) anddesignatedExecutive Committee members. This role combines close protection, secure driving, advance planning, and risk mitigation in a complex, high-visibility financial services environment.

The EPSoperatesas part of a coordinated executive protection program, partnering with Global Security, Office of the CEO (OCEO) staff, Executive Assistants, Travel, and external vendors to ensure seamless protection coverage across daily movements, business travel, and corporate events.

Key Responsibilities & DutiesExecutive Protection & Safety
  • Provide close-in, unarmed protection for the CEO during all movements and engagements
  • Maintain constant situational awareness and proactivelyidentifyrisks, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
  • Conduct protective intelligence and threat assessments in coordination with Global Security
  • Apply de-escalation techniques and conflict avoidance strategies as primary response methods
Secure Transportation (Primary Function)
  • Serve as primary driver for CEO in NYC Metro Area and surrounding areas, and other locations where the CEO travels
  • Plan and execute secure routes, accounting for traffic, protests, events, and emerging risks
  • Perform vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles aremaintainedin safe, discreet, executive-ready condition
  • Execute evasive or defensive driving techniques whenrequired(within legal and policy constraints)
Advance Planning & Coordination
  • Conduct advance site assessments for meetings, events, and travel destinations
  • Coordinatelogisticswith OCEO staff, Executive Assistants, aviation teams, hotels, and venue security
  • Support domestic and international travel, including airport procedures and ground transportation coordination
  • Review andmaintainprotective intelligence briefs
Operational Excellence & Discretion
  • Maintain strict confidentialityregardingexecutive movements, business activities, and personal information
  • Present a professional, low-profile demeanor consistent with Client culture
  • Document incidents, daily activity reports, and after-action reviews
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws, corporate policies, and licensing requirements
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or high-end private security
  • Demonstrated experience in protective driving in dense urban environments (NYC Metro Area preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; advanced driving certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NYC Metro Area geography, traffic patterns, and security considerations
  • Ability to work flexible, irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel
  • Exceptional judgment, situational awareness, and interpersonal skills
  • Unarmed NY Guard Card
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supportingC-suite executives in financial services or Fortune 500 environments
  • Formal executive protection training (e.g., protective intelligence, surveillance detection)
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • Familiarity withprotective intelligence platforms and reporting systems
  • NY Pistol Permit
