Job description

The Shattuck Group is seeking a System Engineer for a position in Chantilly, VA. Your key role will be to develop well crafted research plans with clear research objectives. As a System Engineer you will be responsible for writing usability research screeners and discussion guides.

You will recruit targeted end users for specific research studies, conduct stakeholder and partner interviews, help develop and implement quantitative surveys, extract insights about suer behaviors from web instrumentation tools, translate user insights into actionable recommendations for the client's product team. You will communicate insights across the client's design and development teams, present design research findings to the larger group in a clear and organized fashion. Qualifications: -TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph -Solid understanding of the design thinking process, as well as a passion and know how for influencing design strategy -Certificate or significant education background in Human-Centered Design, UX/UI, System Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar field of study -5 years experience conducting user research in a professional setting
