Rotation : 21-21 ou 14-14 (Fly-in / Fly-out)

Horaire : 10 heures à 12 heures par jour ou par nuit

Salaire : Rémunération compétitive, heures supplémentaires payées à temps et demi.

Départ : Plusieurs aéroports de départ (Montréal, Mirabel, Québec, Val d'Or, Mont-Jolie, etc).

Situés dans des camps isolés, nous recherchons un premier cuisinier pour se joindre à notre équipe pour commencer dès maintenant. 

Relevant directement du chef exécutif, les tâches de la personne occupant le poste de 1er Cuisinier visent à superviser et réaliser la production des repas des travailleurs. La personne doit s’assurer de préparer les items du menu nécessaires, qu’ils soient complets, que le suivi soit effectué et que la nourriture rencontre les standards de qualité. Le 1er cuisinier doit savoir travailler sous pression et bien gérer son temps. Il doit faire preuve de leadership et d’une attitude positive.  

Les tâches et responsabilités de la personne occupant le poste de 1er Cuisinier  incluent, mais ne se limitent pas nécessairement aux tâches suivantes :

  • Réaliser la production des repas (déjeuner, souper et dîner); 
  • Prépare les accompagnements chauds du menu; 
  • S’assure que toute la préparation nécessaire est effectuée, notée et rencontre les standards de qualité; 
  • Prends les températures du souper et les inscrits dans le registre; 
  • Participe au nettoyage et au maintien de la propreté de la cuisine et des espaces de service; 
  • Assurer un entreposage et une rotation adéquate des aliments;
  • S’assurer que toutes les tâches sont effectuées de façon sécuritaire et signaler tout incident ou problème immédiatement. Ne passez pas à côté, agissez maintenant; 
  • Réaliser les inventaires à chaque fin de mois.
  • Faire la commande de nourriture.
  • Toutes autres tâches selon les besoins.

Located in remote camp environments, we are currently seeking a Head Cook to join our team as soon as possible.

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the responsibilities of the Head Cook are to oversee and carry out meal production for workers. The individual must ensure that all required menu items are prepared, complete, properly tracked, and meet quality standards. The Head Cook must be able to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and demonstrate leadership and a positive attitude.

The duties and responsibilities of the Head Cook include, but are not limited to:

  • Produce meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner);
  • Prepare hot menu accompaniments;
  • Ensure all necessary preparation is completed, documented, and meets quality standards;
  • Take dinner temperatures and record them in the logbook;
  • Participate in cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas;
  • Ensure proper food storage and rotation;
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and report any incidents or issues immediately, do not ignore them, act right away;
  • Complete inventory at the end of each month;
  • Place food orders;
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXIGENCES

  • Diplôme en hôtellerie, restauration, ou combinaison équivalente de formation ; technique et/ou d’expérience connexe ; 
  • Un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en cuisine ;
  • Expérience dans les camps d’hébergement de la main-d’œuvre en région ou milieux éloignés (campements) sont un atout ;
  • Expérience préalable dans le travail en milieu isolé dans le domaine des ressources naturelles et/ou de la construction est considéré comme un atout ;
  • Certification MAPAQ (manipulateur et/ou gestionnaire) est considéré comme un atout ;

  • Diploma in hospitality, food service, or an equivalent combination of technical training and/or relevant experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience;
  • Experience working in workforce accommodation camps in remote or regional settings is considered an asset;
  • Previous experience working in isolated environments within the natural resources and/or construction sectors is an asset;
  • MAPAQ certification (food handler and/or manager) is considered an asset;
