PROLIM is currently seeking an Engineer Guidance Navigation Control for one of our top clients - Northrop Grumman Corporation, located in Chandler, Arizona.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced aerospace programs involving aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and launch vehicles. As a GNC Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of guidance, navigation, and control systems that support mission-critical aerospace applications.
Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $80 - $95/hr on W2
  • Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (9/80 Schedule - Every Other Friday Off)
  • Experience: 2-5 Years
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance Required
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen Required

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains.
  • Develop and maintain 6 Degree of Freedom (6DOF) simulations for flight software testing and validation.
  • Support the design and testing of flight control software.
  • Optimize flight software and simulation performance.
  • Utilize trajectory optimization tools and software.
  • Analyze guidance, navigation, and control system performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure mission success.
  • Support integration, verification, and validation activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of professional experience; OR Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience with:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience using Jira in Agile development environments.
