The Platform and Devices Commercial Organization (PDCO) manages the global go-to-market strategy and partnerships for Google's platforms, devices, and services - across Android, Chrome, Pixel, Google Nest, and Fitbit. We partner with carriers, retailers, and enterprises, and education institutions to bring these products to users.
Our Strategy and Operations team partners directly with Android's commercial leadership to drive the global business strategy. As the Global Strategy and Operations Lead for Android GTM, you will define the commercial strategy to maximize market and user impact through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. You will utilize complex tools (e.g., SQL, Python, and automated dashboards) to assess the effectiveness of our current market activities, build balanced scorecards, and develop plans. You will translate datasets into cohesive narratives, identifying operational inefficiencies, and expanding GTM data infrastructure.
You will build influential relationships with executive stakeholders across Android Marketing, Finance, and Partnerships, acting as a trusted thought partner who can distill complex metrics for executive consumption. We are looking for a structured problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity, manage complex global programs, and drive data-backed business outcomes.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Define the commercial strategy to improve market and user impact by translating datasets into narratives and plans. Utilize advanced analytics to evaluate market effectiveness through balanced scorecards and data frameworks.
  • Structure ambiguous problems and conduct analyses using advanced tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, scripts, or dashboards) to deliver business insights.
  • Act as a key partner and thought leader to Android leadership, synthesizing data into metrics and narratives for executive consumption.
  • Define and maintain data infrastructure, metrics, and dashboards to track performance, identifying and automating operational inefficiencies to expand GTM operations.
  • Work on programs by collaborating with cross-regional or cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and communicating risks and remediation plans to executive stakeholders.
