Tech stack: (Java, ETL, SPARK, AWS, Glue)
Technologies Used: Familiar with Glue, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, Lambda, S3, Open source frameworks

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Java Developer with strong AWS and DevOps experience to join our team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously, collaborate effectively with existing team members, and require minimal guidance. Prior experience with Capital One (Cap1) projects is highly preferred to ensure quick onboarding and familiarity with current tools and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  • Integrate DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Quickly adapt to and utilize recent tools and systems used within Cap1 projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.
  • AWS Certification is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Recent experience working on Cap1 projects is a significant advantage.
  • Prior experience with the tech stack: Java, AWS, and DevOps.
