Course Controller

POSITION SUMMARY


The Course Controller is responsible for weekly financial reporting and analysis and reconciliation of accounts, HR and Payroll submission, Accounts Payable processing. This position reports directly to the Club Manager and Corporate Controller


EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED


  • Degree in accounting and/or finance is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with a heavy emphasis on EXCEL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to be a team player and to be customer service oriented
  • Minimum 2 years relevant accounting and operational experience

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


Club Accounting/Finance

  • Responsible for the preparation of weekly/monthly reporting packages
  • Cash flow forecasting/reporting and other accounting related functions, as required
  • Process AR club membership
  • Provide assistance in researching variances
  • Process weekly Accounts Payables for payment
  • Responsible for submitting all HR reports and Employee files
  • Process bi-weekly payroll



Computer Systems

  • Become knowledgeable in all pertinent accounting related software used by the Company including IBS POS system and Great Plains general ledger.


Budgeting/Forecasting

  • Provide input to forecasting and budgeting projects as needed


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS


  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to multitask and follow up on issues as necessary
  • Will spend time working on the computer in fulfilling job requirements
