Job description

The Jewelry Group (formerly known as Nine West Jewelry Group) is seeking a full time Merchandise Coordinator (30 hours a week) based in New York, NY Macy’s Herald Square. The Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for servicing the following brands: Givenchy, Marchesa, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Donna Karan, Anne Klein, and Karl Lagerfeld. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure that all brands are merchandised and presented properly by classification, key trends, and lifestyle
  • Organize stock by color, style, and price
  • Ensure that all promotional and markdown events are executed correctly at store level
  • Develop strong relationships with associates and all levels of management
  • Communicate trends, product knowledge, and selling information to the store associates
  • Prioritize developing partnerships with store management in order to negotiate prime locations, additional capacity, and communicate stock call outs
  • Cultivate strong clientele relationships to create brand loyalty
  • Work closely with Regional Manager and Account Executives on all issues and concerns on the selling floor with regards to TJG brands and competitive brands
  • Complete store recaps and time sheets
