Position Overview

Prep Academy Tutors of Los Angeles is seeking qualified, dedicated, and compassionate Elementary Teachers and Tutors to provide personalized, one-on-one academic support to students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 throughout the Northern Los Angeles area.

Our educators work closely with students to strengthen foundational academic skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping elementary students reach their full potential through individualized instruction tailored to each child's unique learning needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for certified elementary teachers, experienced educators, and qualified tutors who enjoy making a meaningful impact outside of the traditional classroom.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Qualified applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid California teaching credential (Multiple Subject preferred) or equivalent
  • Be a current student teacher pursuing a teaching credential
  • Have two or more years of experience teaching elementary students in a public, private, or charter school
  • Have significant experience providing one-on-one or small-group tutoring for elementary students
  • Be a graduate student in education or a related field with teaching or instructional experience
