Job description

TradeWise Staffing Group is hiring a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to run fire alarm and life safety scope on a commercial project in Glendale, AZ. This is a step-up role for an experienced fire alarm tech ready to lead a crew — a Lead / Foreman-track position that's temp-to-perm with a stable contractor.


Pay: $30–$40/hr depending on experience


What you'll do:

  • Lead and coordinate a fire alarm install crew on a commercial build
  • Oversee rough-in, device installation, terminations, panel programming, and testing
  • Read and interpret fire alarm plans, submittals, riser diagrams, and specifications
  • Program and troubleshoot addressable fire alarm panels
  • Coordinate with the GC, PM, and inspectors; keep the schedule moving
  • Enforce NFPA 72, NEC, and OSHA safety standards on site


What we're looking for:

  • Experience as a Lead Fire Alarm Technician, Fire Alarm Foreman, Senior Fire Alarm Technician, or Fire Alarm Installer ready to lead
  • Strong hands-on with fire alarm panels — Notifier, Simplex, Gamewell, EST, Silent Knight, FireLite, or Kidde
  • Fire alarm programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience
  • NICET certification (Level II+ strongly preferred)
  • Crew leadership and jobsite coordination experience
  • Low voltage license, OSHA 30 a plus
  • Reliable transportation, own tools, and strong attendance
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
