Job description

Location: New York / New Jersey / Chicago, IL/ Hartford, CT/Boston, MA

The Position:

Client seeks a motivated, high-energy sales professional to join our fast-paced, high-growth Banking software sales team in the US. The individual will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets by independently managing the end-to-end sales process to acquire new business from the assigned accounts/market segment. Prior experience of selling enterprise software solutions to the banking and financial services industry is a must. The role also requires working with network of global system integrators who provide a potent sales channel for the organization.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires extensive travelling for business reasons.

Qualifications and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s Degree is required.

·         10-20 years of experience in selling enterprise software solutions with focus on new business acquisition in the Banking and Financial segment.

·         Understanding of business processes such as Loan Origination, Account Opening, Trade Finance and its integration with Technology shall be an added advantage

·         Experience in selling BPM, ECM, Case Management, low-code development, and hyper-automation application shall be an advantage.

·         Experience of selling to large US banks and Fis’, including Credit Unionsis a MUST.

·         Experience in building consultative relationships with Senior decision makers at prospects and partners by engaging in regular face-to-face customer interactions.Should be able to “speak the language” of target market decision makers.

·         Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse internal departments in multiple geographic locations and multicultural settings.

·         Self-sufficient in generating market traction and executing lead generation strategies.

·         Has a proven track record of account planning, account management and meeting or exceeding sales quota.

Responsibilities:

·         Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets on a quarterly basis by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities in new business acquisition from Banking and FS vertical.

·         Oversee the Billing/ Contracting/ Collection of Payment from the customer as per the agreed terms and timeline (in liaison with internal teams at Newgen)

·         Create detailed, strategic target account plans, including partner/ alliance strategy to establish trusted advisor relationships with prospects, partners and clients to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat business

·         Think and research strategically about their client’s business to create and propose compelling solutions using Newgen product and services.

·         Leverage Newgen resources to successfully identify and drive sales campaigns

·         Effectively manage a complex sales cycleto a successful close and win business
