Position Summary

EZARC, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Production Manager to lead our Off-Site Modularization (OSM) production. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of shop operations to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality assembly and erection of steel and modular components and modular building systems. This role does not fabricate steel or oversee steel fabrication; it is responsible for the assembly, erection, and installation of pre-fabricated components (steel erection, strut cutting, bolting, and related assembly work).

The ideal candidate will bring a self-driven leadership approach with a proven track record in construction/modular assembly, production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, team management, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the OSM production, driving safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Oversee the assembly and erection of steel, strut components and modular systems, including strut cutting, bolting, and component installation, along with associated quality control.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance at team and individual levels.
  • Present performance metrics and strategic insights into executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the shop, optimizing quality, processes, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve production targets.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with a focus on mentorship and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and all safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, steel erection, or modular assembly.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing production or assembly teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present KPIs to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of steel erection/assembly processes and quality control standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with off-site modularization or pre-fabricated component assembly.
  • Familiarity with strut systems, bolted connections, and related erection hardware.
  • In-depth knowledge of modular construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Operational Systems Management (OSM) or other production management systems.
