POSITION: Director of Program Management Office
Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and disciplined leader to establish, lead, and mature a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO). The Director of Program Management Office will play a critical role in driving strategic execution across organizational transformation initiatives, technology modernization programs, regulatory initiatives, and operational improvements. The Director of Program Management Office candidate will bring deep experience within the retail and commercial banking sector, combined with a proven ability to lead complex cross-functional programs involving both business and technical change. This leader will provide governance, structure, rigor, and execution excellence while fostering collaboration across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and executive leadership teams.
Key Result Areas:
• Lead and oversee the enterprise PMO function for Retail and Commercial Banking initiatives.
• Establish and enforce program and project governance standards, methodologies, reporting structures, and delivery frameworks.
• Drive successful execution of strategic initiatives including:
o Core banking transformations
o Digital banking initiatives
o Regulatory and compliance programs
o Process improvement and operational efficiency efforts
o Organizational transformation and change management programs
o Data and technology modernization initiatives
• Provide executive-level visibility into program health, risks, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain disciplined project management practices, ensuring consistency, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to align priorities and delivery objectives.
• Lead organizational change management efforts to support adoption, communication, training, and business readiness.
• Mentor and develop project managers, program managers, business analysts, and delivery teams.
• Ensure initiatives comply with banking regulations, risk frameworks, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Drive a culture of execution excellence, continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
• Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, project delivery, or PMO leadership within the retail and commercial banking industry.
• Proven experience leading large-scale organizational and technical transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of retail banking and commercial banking operations, products, customer journeys, and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid delivery models, and PMO governance best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong organizational discipline with a detail-oriented and structured approach to delivery management.
• Experience managing complex interdependencies across business and technology organizations.
• Ability to influence and drive alignment across senior leadership teams.
• Experience with portfolio management, resource planning, budgeting, and strategic roadmap execution.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean, or related certifications preferred.
• Preferred Experience:
o Banking mergers, acquisitions, or integration programs
o Core banking platform implementations or conversions
o Digital transformation initiatives
o Commercial lending or treasury management platforms
o Regulatory remediation or compliance programs
o Enterprise PMO transformation and maturity initiatives

Salary Range: $185,000 - $225,000
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $185,000 - $225,000. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
