Job description

Client Overview:

High Country Search Group is partnering with an elite, rapidly growing custom construction

contractor renowned for delivering an unparalleled standard of architectural excellence and

artisanal craftsmanship. Over the last decade, this family-led organization has successfully

doubled its revenue from $10M to $20M, with a strategic roadmap to scale to $40M over the

next 10 years. Specializing in ultra-high-end custom residential builds and premier commercial

hospitality projects, the firm pairs a tight-knit team of expert artisans with an agile, driven

leadership team. Under the guidance of a founder with deep roots in top-tier commercial

construction, the company is expanding its commercial footprint while maintaining an

uncompromising standard of quality, precision, and flawless project execution.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a high-caliber, polished Project Manager who brings a unique blend of

technical expertise, design sensibility, and executive presence. This is a critical leadership role

designed for a sophisticated, "button-down" professional who thrives on ownership and

possesses the dedication required to match the pace of a fast-growing business. Unlike

traditional PM roles that execute pre-defined plans, you will act as the primary touchpoint for

high-net-worth clients, collaboratively developing project specifications from initial concept

through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

โ— Pre-Construction & Design Development: Partner directly with clients from initial

contact to estimate, conceptualize, and develop project specifications from inception.

โ— Financial & Budgetary Management: Take full ownership of project financials,

managing fiscal efficiency, maintaining tight cost controls, and ensuring strict adherence

to project margins.

โ— Field Coordination & Quality Control: Oversee scheduling, field execution, and day-

to-day coordination with elite internal carpentry teams and premier subcontractors to

maintain an immaculate standard of work.

โ— Client Relations & Business Development: Act as the primary ambassador of the firm

in high-end residential spaces, building strong rapport with discerning homeowners and

effectively navigating commercial hospitality stakeholders.

โ— Project Administration & Technology: Manage essential project documentation,

invoicing, and bookkeeping inputs while actively championing and driving team adoption

of Procore.

Education and Qualifications:

โ— Minimum of 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience (experience with

premier ENR-ranked commercial general contractors or elite residential custom builders

is highly preferred).

โ— Strong construction background with a proven track record of managing high-value asset

budgets and complex timelines.

โ— Exceptional client-facing persona with a sharp memory, meticulous attention to detail,

and the ability to consult articulately with discerning stakeholders.

โ— Demonstrated ability to estimate, analyze drawings, and collaboratively design project

specifications (specifically high-end finishes, cabinetry, tile, and marble).

โ— Familiarity with construction management software (Procore required).

โ— An entrepreneurial work ethicโ€”a dedicated professional who takes extreme pride in

operational excellence and possesses the commitment required to ensure project

success.

Why This Opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to step into a definitive role with direct access to executive ownership

within a high-growth company where your strategic impact is immediately visible. You will work

side-by-side with visionary founders in a collaborative culture that treats its team with mutual

respect, honors elite craftsmanship, and offers a clear runway for long-term career ascension.

The firm offers a highly competitive base salary paired with a strong performance bonus

structure and a comprehensive executive benefits package that includes health insurance, a

401(k) with company match, and generous paid time off (PTO) alongside paid holidays. If you

are a seasoned construction professional ready to leave the corporate red tape behind and lead

multi-million dollar projects from inception, this is your next chapter.
