With a diverse portfolio of retail, hospitality, light industrial, healthcare, and worship, CESO has the opportunity for you to expand your career. We develop leaders and empower our associates to use their skills and talents to positively impact the world through service - to our coworkers, clients, and communities. We subscribe to the mission of "empowering our people to impact communities by bringing clients' visions to life," so if this speaks to you, let's connect!

At CESO, an Architecture Senior (Sr) Team Lead brings advanced technical leadership and strategic oversight to guide the design, coordination, and delivery of architectural construction documents, specifications, and details across a diverse portfolio of complex projects. In addition to managing multiple teams, this position is responsible for overseeing technical direction, resolving escalated design challenges, and ensuring alignment with project goals, quality standards, and company best practices. The Sr Team Lead plays a key role in resource planning, risk management, and process improvement initiatives, while also fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development within the team. This position frequently engages with project managers, client managers, and clients to provide expert guidance and ensure project success.

  • Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating collaboration and resolving inter-team dependencies or conflicts.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of projects-from planning and design through construction documentation and administration-ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Discipline Leads on project budgeting, scheduling, staffing forecasts, and proposal development.
  • Offer expert guidance on design, code compliance, and technical problem-solving, including implementation of Quality Management Programs, QA reviews, engineering/architectural calculations, and documentation accuracy.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure project clarity, alignment, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Interpret and apply company, client, and jurisdictional requirements, standards and applicable codes to ensure all designs and documentation meet professional, legal and safety obligations.
  • Implement and uphold quality management processes, recommend design improvements, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
  • Lead meetings, document decisions, and clearly communicate project goals, updates, and changes to all relevant parties, including clients and senior leadership.
  • Supervising direct reports is a key responsibility of this job.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
