About the Role

The Manager - Executive Compensation will be responsible for the design, development and administration of executive pay programs for the executive population. This new role will ensure those pay programs align with business objectives and are effective in attracting, rewarding, and retaining key executive talent. Additionally, the position will play a key role in the annual compensation planning process and partnering with HR leaders and senior management to assess whether executive pay programs are aligned with company philosophies and methods.

The role will report to the Director - Executive Compensation, but will work collaboratively with FTI's business leaders as well as segment and regional HR and Finance leaders to understand and analyze business issues and develop effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a public company's compensation committee, preparing Proxy disclosures, developing and preparing management reporting focused on the executive population, familiarity with compensation budgeting and accounting and is comfortable reading and interpreting employment agreements.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare both standard and ad hoc Compensation Committee materials.
  • Participate in the design and development of the executive compensation-related sections of the proxy.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to continually evaluate our executive compensation program structure to identify whether those programs are aligned with peer, general market and best practices.
  • Responsible for the project management of the executive compensation elements of the year-end compensation planning process, including leading the annual gender pay analysis for the executive population.
  • Design and lead the implementation of new and enhanced reporting to facilitate senior management's assessment of the performance of individual senior practitioners.
  • Coordinate and communicate with our legal, payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate taxation, accounting and financial reporting of all elements of compensation for the executive population.
  • Develop an expertise on FTI's executive compensation programs and propose innovative solutions to enhance those programs, as necessary.
  • Understand technical tax, accounting and regulatory requirements related to executive compensation and be able to apply them to specific circumstances.
  • Respond to compensation-related questions and requests from the executive population.
  • Ensure strong governance and compliance with the provision of our executive pay programs.
  • Perform various ad-hoc executive compensation analyses, as required.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or business-related field
  • 5+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in executive compensation administration and providing compensation subject matter expertise to HR and business leaders
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, nested IF statements, V- and X-lookups, Index/Match)
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position will notsponsor applicants for work visas
  • Ability to travel FTI office(s) when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Achievement of or progress toward any of the following designations - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) and Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
  • Knowledge of E*Trade Equity Edge Online (EEO), PeopleSoft and/or SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience with scenario modeling and other analyses
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and personal integrity
  • Ability to align with East Coast working hours

Minimum Pay: $124,000
Maximum Pay: $206,000
