Holiday Rotation:

Department: Observation

Reporting to the Nursing Director of the assigned area. Performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Responsibilities

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma required.

Minimum Experience/Skills:

  • at least 2 years experience of direct patient care in a medical facility required.

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials: 

  • Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association;
  • Current CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (or must obtain within 90 days of hire/transfer);
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred.
