Our client, a highly respected, mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, strategic Chief Financial Officer to help guide the organization through its next phase of growth while partnering closely with leadership, the Board, and operational teams.

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all accounting, finance, audit, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting functions for the organization. This individual will lead a lean accounting team while remaining heavily involved in the day-to-day accounting and financial management activities.

The ideal CFO will bring nonprofit accounting leadership experience, strong audit expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in both strategic and tactical capacities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management
  • Oversee annual audit process, internal controls, compliance, and financial governance
  • Partner with executive leadership and Board members on financial strategy and planning
  • Mentor and develop a small accounting team while remaining hands-on operationally
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen financial infrastructure across the organization
