  • Capture, analyze, and interpret CAN logs and vehicle communication data
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and CAPL
  • Utilize automotive tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and dSPACE for testing and diagnostics
  • Validate applications running on SoC platforms, embedded Linux, and connected vehicle systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineering, research teams, and vendors to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Drive defect analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement of validation processes

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of automotive software validation experience
  • Proven experience developing test strategies and validation methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous and complex technical problems (experience in R&D, startup, or research environments strongly preferred)
  • Experience defining validation approaches for new or emerging technologies
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to see end-to-end interactions
  • Ability to work independently in a research-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with automotive tools such as CANoe, CANape, dSPACE, CAPL
  • Strong programming and automation experience using Python
  • Solid background in embedded systems and vehicle communication protocols

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML testing or validation
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data pipelines
  • Familiarity with JavaScript
  • Experience with ADAS, autonomous systems, or advanced vehicle technologies
  • Exposure to SoC platforms, edge devices, and embedded Linux environments
  • Familiarity with platforms such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, or Renesas
