AV Installation Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH (with travel to client sites)
Travel: Up to 50% (company-paid travel, including occasional weekends)

Our client is seeking a skilled Lead AV Installation Technician to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AV professional who enjoys hands-on work, solving technical challenges, and leading installation projects from start to finish. You'll work with advanced audio-visual technologies, including video walls, conferencing systems, control platforms, and integrated AV solutions across a variety of commercial environments.

What You'll Do
  • Install and configure commercial AV systems, including displays, video walls, projectors, speakers, microphones, conferencing equipment, and control systems
  • Run and terminate AV, data, and low-voltage cabling according to project specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation documents to ensure proper system deployment
  • Test, troubleshoot, and commission AV systems for optimal performance
  • Identify and resolve installation challenges while developing effective onsite solutions
  • Support control system programming and commissioning efforts
  • Train end users on equipment operation and system functionality
  • Document project details, including serial numbers, warranties, and installation records
  • Review project punch lists and provide field feedback to project management teams
  • Load, unload, and organize equipment for project installations
  • Serve as a lead technician onsite, assigning work and mentoring junior team members
  • Maintain a professional presence while interacting with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Hands-on experience installing commercial AV systems
  • Experience with video displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, and conferencing technologies

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
